Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week day shift contract in South Carolina. Requires SC or Compact RN license and at least 2 years ER experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory; Epic EMR experience is a plus.

Must pass arrhythmia and medication tests on orientation day. Travel/national mobility is required. Position features 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with on-call options per cycle and a generous benefits package including

Qualifications

• Active RN license (SC or Compact) required; pending license accepted if obtained prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Must pass arrhythmia and medication test on first day of orientation
• Recent Epic EMR experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• On-call requirements: either 1 holiday shift with 2 on-call/additional shifts per 6 weeks, or 2 holiday shifts with no on-call
• Block scheduling not accommodated
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• All RTO must be submitted with initial application; requests made afterward will not be considered
• Attendance policy: more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract may result in contract review
