Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in the United States. The role requires a Florida or compact license and 1 year of ED experience with advanced certifications.

Responsibilities include trauma care in a high-acuity ED, 13 weeks, 36-hour weeks, night shifts (18:45–07:15), with every-other-weekend and holiday coverage as needed. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida or compact state.
• Minimum 1 year ED experience required.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC per stated details.
• Ascension CPI certification required, renewal every 2 years.
• License verification and Nursys verification within 30 days of start.
• US SSN and home address required.

• Emergency Department - Trauma unit setting.
• 13-week assignment with a 36-hour work week.
• Night shift schedule (18:45-07:15).
• Every other weekend rotation.
• Holiday coverage as per department need.
• Provide emergency and trauma nursing care in a high-acuity department.

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (AHA certifications required for BLS, ACLS, and PALS)
• Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required, 8-hour course renewed every 2 years
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start required
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
