Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Critical Access Hospital. ER and ICU background along with TNCC, ENPC or PALS are required, with active WA or compact RN licensure.

The role includes a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, night shift 7p–7a, and frequent floating to Region II facilities. EPIC EMR is used, and a charge nurse leads ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Active WA state or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• ENPC or PALS certification required
• ER and ICU experience required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Active certifications required at time of consideration
• Driver's license copy required
• Two professional references: supervisor within last 12 months and peer/supervisor within last 3 years, with dates and rehire eligibility

Responsibilities

• Critical Access Hospital ED with 11 beds and 1 trauma bay
• Handles ~35 patients per day with 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Night shift 7p-7a with flexible start time; every other weekend
• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Charge nurse on unit; no nurse aides or paramedics assigned
• Phlebotomists handle lab draws; IV team available; RT 24/7
• One ED provider on-site 24 hours a day
• Primary assignment with floating to Region II facilities as needed
• Will float to ICU as needed
• Unit-specific orientation provided
• Provide ED nursing care in a critical access setting
• Holiday coverage required
• Floating to Region II facilities with extra pay for non-primary facilities
• Candidates previously employed by CommonSpirit-affiliated facilities within past year not eligible
• PRN through outside staffing firms considered

• Holiday coverage required
• Will float within Region II facilities when needed, with additional pay for floating to non-primary facilities
• Candidates who were previously employed full time, part time, or PRN by CommonSpirit-affiliated facilities (including CHI and Dignity) within the past year are not eligible
• Candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
