American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel role in Washington. Requires 2+ years of ER experience and multiple specialty certifications. Expect 12-hour evening shifts on a 6-week rotation, with weekend coverage and on-site orientation.

The position includes a generous housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and comprehensive medical benefits. WA licensure and active certifications are required.

Qualificações

Active WA state or compact RN license
Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC
BSN not required for this position
Two professional references: one supervisor from within last 12 months, one peer/supervisor from last 3 years with dates and eligibility
Copy of driver's license required

Responsabilidades

ER/Trauma Center setting with 12 rooms plus 1 triage room
Fast track care included within the 12 rooms
Nurses perform triage duties in the dedicated triage room
ER holds are intermixed with a 3-hour transfer-out goal
One ligature-free psych/seclusion room with watch transfer
Average of 88 patients per day, 60/40 Urgent Care to ER
Typical ratios 1:4, flexing to 1:6 for Urgent Care
6 monitored rooms for telemetry; read strips, no monitor techs
On-site X-ray/CT; ultrasound on-call
EPIC EMR used
Evening shift 3p-3a on 6-week rotation; 12-hour shifts
Weekend requirement: 6 shifts in 6-week rotation
No call or standby; may float to FSED in Port Orchard
Security: 1 guard 24/7; 1–2 physicians + mid-level provider 10–20 hrs/day
Holiday coverage: 1 major holiday in summer, 1 in winter
On-site orientation with shadow shifts and online modules
Black scrub color required

No RT on site; nurses manage all ventilator needs using the Hamilton C1 vent
No nurse aides, paramedics, or patient sitters on staff
Charge nurse on site with house supervisor at the parent hospital
EPIC EMR used
Evening shift schedule from 3p-3a on a 6-week rotation with 12-hour shifts
Weekend requirement of 6 shifts within the 6-week rotation
No call or standby requirement
May float to the FSED in Port Orchard, with volunteers given first priority
In-house security provided with 1 guard on site 24/7
1-2 physicians plus 1 mid-level provider on site 10-20 hours a day
Holiday coverage required for 1 major holiday in summer and 1 major holiday in winter
Unit/department orientation provided on site with 1-2 shadow shifts plus online modules
