American Traveler, LLC is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role in Dover, OH. An active Ohio or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required; TNCC is preferred.

The assignment is 13 weeks, with 3x12 hour shifts (7a–7p and 10a–10p) and holiday coverage. Candidates must have at least 1 year ER experience, provide a manager reference, and complete pre-employment checks, including vaccines and a clean background.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS in hand; TNCC preferred.
• Minimum 1 year ER nursing experience.
• One manager/supervisor reference from past 12 months; coworker references not accepted.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines with medical/religious exemptions only.
• Background check with no open cases; no license hits.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency department nursing care across a range of acute presentations.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation, with up to 2 attempts.
• Work in a hospital-based Emergency Department setting.
• Day/mid shift rotation; 3x12 hour shifts including 7a–7p and 10a–10p.
• Holiday coverage required for every other holiday.
• Travel experience not required, but first-time travelers should confirm eligibility with recruiter.

• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Background check must not include any open cases; no license hits accepted
