Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift in Ohio. Applicants must have an OH or compact license and travel RN experience, with BLS/ACLS/NIHSS/PALS certifications. Two years of RN experience and CAH/community hospital exposure are preferred; BSN not required.

Position offers 3x12-hour nights, 72 hours guaranteed per two weeks, and inclusion of housing, per diem, and licensure reimbursements as part of the travel package.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Experience in CAH or community hospital settings preferred.
• BSN not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Room of an acute care hospital setting.
• Patient ratio of 3 nurses to 1 patient.
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts.
• 72 guaranteed hours per two-week period.
• Uses T-system and TruBridge-Evident charting systems.
• Royal blue scrubs required.
• Flexible orientation hours.
• Cancellation policy allows for 1 week's worth of guaranteed hours to be cancelled over the 13-week assignment.
