Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Ohio. The role requires an active OH or compact license and at least 1 year of ER experience.

The candidate must have current AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS). TNCC and NIHSS are preferred. A professional reference from a ER supervisor within the last 12 months is required.

Qualifications

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of combined ER experience
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• TNCC certification preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One professional reference from an ER manager/supervisor/director within past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Provide emergency care to a broad range of ER patients
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with up to 2 attempts
• Work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from prior end date
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• RTO must be discussed and finalized during interview
