American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department in Denton, TX. Requires 2+ years of ER experience, TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale certifications, and an active TX license. Shift is overnight (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with every other weekend and floating as needed.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required (no temp licenses).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC and TNCC certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• 2+ years ER experience in a trauma center preferred.
• Experience with the HCA health system is required.
• Meditech EMR experience required.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days in the past year.

Responsabilités

• Provide emergency nursing care in a 24-bed Level II trauma ED.
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; every other weekend.
• Call requirements apply and occasional floating.
• Utilize Meditech documentation system and adhere to dress code.
• 13-week assignment with Magnet designation and Joint Commission accreditations.

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• 2+ years of recent ER specialty experience required
• HCA health system experience required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• 24-bed state-of-the-art Emergency Department in a Level II Trauma Center hospital
• Overnight shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Call requirements apply
• Floating required as needed
• Uses Meditech documentation system
• 13-week assignment
• Provide emergency nursing care within a high-acuity trauma center setting
• Royal blue scrubs required for RNs
• Nail, hair, tattoo, and piercing guidelines enforced per facility dress code
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Facility holds Magnet designation and multiple Joint Commission accreditations
