Job summary

American Traveler, LLC seeks an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a midshift assignment in Granbury, TX. You will manage trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases in a 10-room ED, with a 4:1 patient ratio, and operate on MEDHOST EMR.

Requires TX or Compact RN license, TNCC/BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and 2+ years ED experience. Travel nursing is preferred; shifts 2:15 PM–3:45 AM.

Qualifications

• Active RN license TX or Compact required
• TNCC, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience
• Trauma, stroke and chest pain center experience required
• Travel experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department with 10 rooms and 19 bed/chair capacity
• Handle trauma, stroke and chest pain patient cases
• Patient ratio 4:1
• Mids shift 2:15 PM to 3:45 AM
• No on-call and no floating
• No 48‑hour scheduling
• Uses MEDHOST EMR
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Must reside >50 miles from facility
• RTO requests submitted in advance, kept under 1 week
• Candidates with 90+ day gaps may not be considered
• Not eligible if previously worked as permanent CHS staff in past 2 years

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Dept experience required
• Trauma, stroke, and chest pain center experience required
• Travel experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting with 10 rooms and 19 bed/chair capacity
• Handles trauma, stroke, and chest pain patient cases
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Mids shift from 2:15 PM to 3:45 AM
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• No 48-hour scheduling
• Uses MEDHOST EMR
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be submitted in advance and kept under 1 week
• Candidates with gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months will not be considered
• Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
