Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Texas. Trauma experience and multiple emergency certifications are required.

The ED handles 135+ patients daily in a 41-bed unit with a 12-hour night shift (7P-7A) and a 6-week weekend rotation. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, housing and travel reimbursements, and per diem options for travelers.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TX or Compact)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC
• CPI certification required upon contract extension
• Trauma experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across a high-volume, high-acuity ED
• Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7P-7A
• Handle a 41-bed ED with 135+ patients daily
• Support care for stroke, ACS, diabetic, and AKD cases
• Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week cycle
• Holidays assigned as needed
• Accepts local candidates

• Patient population includes stroke, ACS, diabetic, and AKD cases
• Facility is in active pursuit of Level 3 trauma designation and includes a Primary Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center with 24/7 Cath Lab, and Level 3 NICU
• Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7P-7A
• Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Holidays assigned as needed
• Provide emergency nursing care across a high-volume, high-acuity patient population
• Accepts local candidates
