American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Dept RN with a CA license and Level II trauma center background for a varied shift assignment. This travel-friendly role offers robust benefits and opportunities to work in a high-volume trauma environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in ER, CA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, Epic EMR experience, and trauma-focused certifications. ENPC/TNCC are preferred. W-2 status with the staffing agency participates in housing and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room experience in a Level II trauma center or higher.
• Experience with Pediatrics, Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke cases required.
• Epic EMR charting experience required.
• ENPC and TNCC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Level II Trauma Center, Joint Commission Accredited STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Receiving Center.
• 5 pods with 49 beds, maximum ratio of 4:1.
• Approximately 68,000 annual ED visits.
• Varied 12-hour shift schedule with start times of 6a, 8a, 10a, 12p, 2p, and 6p.
• Uses Epic charting system.
• Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions required to float as needed.
• Must be a W-2 employee of the staffing agency to be eligible for this facility.
