Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a busy Emergency Department requiring 2 years of ED experience and TNCC/CPI certification.

Details

• 19-bed ED plus a 4-bed psych pod
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week scheduling requirement
• May float to the psych pod or to other Parkridge system EDs (East, Main, and North)
• Uses Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillator equipment
• Documentation completed in Meditech

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications required
• TNCC certification required
• 2 years of ED experience required
• Chest pain and stroke certification required for the unit

Additional Information

• Strong sepsis and stroke skillsets expected
• Experienced ED staff, many with 5-20+ years of tenure at the facility
• Excellent provider and nurse relations within the department
• Navy scrubs required as part of the dress code
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
