Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position in Michigan. The role requires 1+ year ER experience and an active MI RN license.

The ED features 8 private beds, a trauma bay, and an observation bay. The night schedule runs 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with every-other weekend commitments and local travel incentives within a 35-mile radius. Travel nurses use Evident CPS EMR.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Compact licenses not accepted
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS (AHA), TNCC, ENPC
• NIHSS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in a fully equipped Emergency Department with 8 private treatment rooms, 1 trauma bay, and 1 observation bay
• Treat a full range of emergency patients including trauma and advanced adult and pediatric life support cases
• Floating to Med Surg required as needed
• Uses Evident CPS EMR system
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages including trauma and critical cases
• Matching scrubs required
• Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers and subject to reduced pay rates
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
