Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Cath Lab/EP RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii. Active Hawaii RN license and a minimum of 2 years in an interventional cath lab are required.

Responsibilities include performing IR, vascular, and cardiac procedures, charting in Meditech, and working with a 4-person on-site call team across 2 cath labs. Shifts are 8–10 hours, with on-call 1–2 days weekly and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of interventional cath lab experience.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Understanding of CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular unit of a hospital setting.
• Performs IR, vascular, and cardiac procedures including angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and IABP insertion, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Uses Meditech EMR, Sensis monitoring system, and Siemens equipment.
• 2 cath labs on site with a 4-person call team.
• Day shifts with varied times, either 8 or 10 hour shifts, 40 hours weekly.
• Required to take call 1-2 days per week and approximately every 2-3 weekends, including holidays.
• Demonstrates specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography, cardiac cath, pacemaker, and IABP insertion procedures.
• Maintains basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing.
• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment.
• Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health that Friday morning.
