American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN for a day shift hospital assignment in Maryland. Must hold an active compact or MD RN license with BLS/ACLS, and have 2+ years of Cath Lab/IR/EP prep/recovery experience.

Travel experience required and pre/post procedural expertise preferred. Day/evening 3x12 shifts (6am-6pm or 9am-9pm) in Cath Lab, EP Lab, and IR prep/recovery Units. Cerner charting system used; precepting is required.

Competenze

• Active RN license (Compact or MD) required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab/IR/EP Lab prep and recovery experience within the last 7 years.
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment.
• Pre/post procedural experience required; Cath Lab, IR, EP Lab experience preferred.
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, central line and peripheral line care required.
• Experience managing cardiac drips, pacemakers, and post cardiac angiogram/cath care required.
• Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment.
• Must support at least 2 years of experience within the previous 3 years.

Mansioni

• Work in the Cath Lab, EP Lab, and IR Prep and Recovery units
• Average daily census of 15-30 patients across 12 rooms
• Day/evening shifts, 3x12 hours, either 6am-6pm or 9am-9pm
• No on-call, no holidays, and no weekend requirements
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Precepting is required
• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, EP procedures, and IR prep and recovery
• Scrubs are provided
• Flu vaccine required for all employees
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days per 13-week contract
• Previous MedStar employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a travel nurse
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within a 60-mile radius
• Manager interviews are not guaranteed
