Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN with IR experience for a day-shift position in Bend, Oregon. You will work in the Cath Lab unit of a medical center, performing diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic procedures and patient recovery.

The role requires an active OR RN license, BLS and ACLS, a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, and IR experience. First-time travelers are welcome; housing allowance and travel reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active OR RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.
• IR experience required.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Pending license accepted for candidates who can apply for a temporary license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of a medical center.
• Census of 10 patients.
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Performs diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring.
• Performs neuro-intervention, vascular, and structured heart exams.
• Performs hemodynamic monitoring using Cath Lab specific equipment.
• Performs conscious sedation on adult patients following facility policies.
• Performs diagnostic hemodynamic monitoring and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to assess the cardiovascular system.
• Assists in recovery of Cath Lab patients as needed in SSU or PACU.
• Uses Philips imaging systems and Abbott Claris equipment.
• On-call required 1-2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 4 weeks.
• No floating required outside of scope.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility.
• RTO restricted to 7 days.
