Job summary
American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient EP RN for an ambulatory cardiology clinic in Burbank, CA. Requires at least 1 year of experience and an active CA RN license. BLS certification is mandatory, EP Lab and device management experience are highly preferred.
The role features a day shift, 5x8 hours, with no weekends or on-call responsibilities. Epic EMR is used for charting and patient management.
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license required and in-hand within 2 weeks of applying.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- EP Lab experience and device management experience highly preferred.
- Experience with ACT, cardioversion, and radiation/laser safety preferred.
- Experience with antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, dobutamine, and emergency medications.
- IV therapy skills including starting and maintaining IVs.
- Cardiology experience required.

- Ambulatory Cardiology Office supporting the EP Device Division.
- Adult cardiac patient population for consults and follow-up visits.
- Uses MURJ for remote device reports and alerts.
- Supports back office Medical Assistant team with higher-level patient advice requests.
- Triages urgent patient symptoms and supervises stress tests.
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- No weekend or on-call requirements.
- No floating between units required.
- Charting completed in Epic.

- Must not have worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee within the last 3 months
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility if previously employed there as permanent staff
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates accepted, though not required
- Candidates within a 50-mile radius may be accepted at a lower bill rate
