Job summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiac EP Lab RN for a level 1 academic teaching medical center requiring EP proficiency and an active MA RN license. The candidate must have recent electrophysiology experience and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
This assignment features 12-hour days (7a–7:30p), Monday through Friday, with every other holiday; no on-call duties. 36 hours weekly plus travel stipends; local candidates within 50 miles are considered. Start ASAP, assignment 13 weeks.
Qualifications
- Active MA RN license is required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Must pass onsite Telemetry exam with 85% or better.
- Recent EP experience required, including devices, EP studies, ablations, and PVI.
- Minimum 18 months of EP experience.
- Two professional references including one at manager level within last 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing EP procedures including ablations, EP studies, cardioversions, cardiac device implants and explants, and cryoablation.
- Work within a fast-paced academic teaching hospital environment.
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local.

- Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting within a level 1 academic teaching medical center
- 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7:30p, Monday through Friday
- Every other holiday required, as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
