Job summary
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP RN for a fast-paced interventional cardiac program in New Mexico. You will provide cath lab support including scrub and circulate roles, with a focus on diagnostic and interventional procedures and patient monitoring.
The role requires at least 1 year of cath lab experience, an active NM or compact RN license, and current ACLS/BLS certifications. Expect 4x10-hour days, call requirements, and floating to related units as needed.
Qualifications
- Active NM or compact RN license required; compact accepted if obtained prior to start
- ACLS and BLS required; RCIS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- Skilled in cardioversion, circulating procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and procedural sedation monitoring
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, and Swan-Ganz monitoring
- Scrub procedure experience preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred

- Receive brief orientation when floating to unit within scope
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply

- Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week
- Call requirement of 8-12 days per month for STEMI or vascular emergencies
- Floating to like units within scope as needed based on facility demand
- Active NM or compact RN license required (pending compact accepted if obtained prior to start)
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS required; RCIS preferred
