American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Progressive Care RN for a 13-week assignment in Hawaii, requiring an active HI RN license and at least 1 year of recent acute care experience.

The role features a 15-bed PCU with 3 step-down ICU beds and 12 telemetry beds, 36 hours per week with no guaranteed hours, and no call. Eligible candidates receive comprehensive benefits including housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and online CEUs.

Qualificações

• Active HI RN license required by start of assignment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• At least 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year
• Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred
• PALS and NIHSS certifications preferred

Responsabilidades

• Progressive Care Unit with 15 beds, including 3 step-down ICU beds and 12 telemetry beds
• Patient ratios of 1:4 for Progressive Care and 1:3 for Step-down ICU
• Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation with no guarantee of hours
• No call requirements
• Floating required to other acute units including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER
• Uses Meditech for charting and Pyxis for medication administration
• Telemetry monitoring and fingerstick blood sugar testing
• Scrubs required as part of dress code
• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment
• Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health that Friday morning

• Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health that Friday morning
