Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Cardiovascular Surgical/Telemetry-PCU unit in Alaska. Requires an active AK RN license and 2 years of recent specialty experience. Night shifts 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on a 13-week assignment, with travel housing and reimbursement benefits.

Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, have BLS/ACLS, NIH Stroke cert, and no 90-day employment gaps in the last year. A background check and references are required.

Qualifications

• Active AK RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification valid for start date and not expiring within first 30 days.
• NIH Stroke Certification required for this unit.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• Professional reference required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular Surgical Unit (CVSU) of a hospital setting.
• 13-week assignment.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.
