Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Night Shift Stepdown Cardiac RN for a hospital assignment in Missouri. You will provide direct cardiac care in a 3x12-hour night schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with telemetry monitoring and post-procedure support, including TAVR and pacemaker care.

Requirements include active MO or compact RN license, nursing degree, BLS/ACLS, and 1+ year RN experience. Travel housing and licensure reimbursements are among the benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Nursing degree required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with Rapid Response/Code teams preferred
• Experience with sheath removal and TR Band preferred

Responsibilities

• Stepdown Cardiac unit within a hospital's Float Pool department
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Cares for cardiac patients including those with pacemakers, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, and post-cardiac surgery or catheterization needs
• Utilizes on-unit and remote telemetry monitoring
• Uses FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring equipment
• Provide direct cardiac care including monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and emergency response
• Supports a range of cardiac procedures including TAVR, pacemaker placement, and cardiac surgery recovery
