Job summary

GHR Healthcare is seeking a Locum Tenens Registered Nurse (RN) for a 16-week contract in Middlebury, VT. The assignment features 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts in a post-acute/long-term care setting, including occasional floating between units.

Candidates must have VT RN eligibility, at least 1 year of nursing experience in LTAC/post-acute rehab, Epic EMR experience, and a current BLS certification. Holidays and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Vermont.
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, including LTAC/post-acute rehab.
• Recent Epic EMR experience within past 2 years required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends and holidays with a variable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, individualized nursing care to LTAC and rehab patients.
• Assess conditions, administer medications and monitor responses.
• Coordinate patient transports and communicate changes to the care team.
• Document assessments and outcomes in Epic accurately.
• Float to long-term care/memory care areas as needed.
