Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry role in Middlebury, Vermont. The assignment is 16 weeks long, with 12-hour night shifts and a travel employment type.

Required qualifications include VT RN licensure or ability to obtain it, 2+ years in Med/Surg Telemetry, prior travel nursing, Charge RN experience, and current AHA BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications. EPIC EMR experience within the last 2 years is necessary.

Qualifications

• Active VT RN license or ability to obtain VT licensure quickly.
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Charge RN experience required.
• Experience with insulin drips and cardiac drips required.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Recent EPIC EMR experience (past 2 years) required.
• Reliable vehicle; snow tires for winter driving.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit with telemetry patient population.
• Assignment length is 16 weeks with 12-hour night shifts.
• Every other weekend required and schedule may be adjusted to meet unit needs.
• Progressive care experience is preferred.
• Uses EPIC EMR; EPIC experience within past 2 years required.
• Bi-weekly orientation sessions are held on Mondays.
• RTO will be considered based on unit needs.
• Document all work history, bed count, EMR used, and facility type.
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position.
