Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for Med Surg Tele in Burlington, VT. This 16-week assignment begins November 2, 2026, with three 12-hour night shifts per week in a hospital-based float pool setting.

You will provide direct patient care across Med Surg/Tele units and related areas, with holiday coverage as needed. The role requires Vermont RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS completion prior to start, and EPIC EMR experience; night availability and ability to float across

Qualifications

Licensed RN in Vermont or eligible in good standing.
Active BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS required.
Minimum 2 years RN experience in an acute care setting; level 1 trauma teaching facility experience preferred.
EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.
Ability to float to multiple units including Med Surg/Tele and related areas.
Night shift schedule (3x12) and availability for holidays.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care on Med Surg Tele units, including routine assessments and care planning.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and standard treatments per physician orders.
Monitor patient status, interpret findings, and expedite changes in condition promptly.
Document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure accurate charting.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care coordination and discharge planning.
Float to related units as needed to support patient care and unit operations.
