Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for Med Surg Tele in Burlington, VT. This 16-week, hospital-based float pool assignment starts November 2, 2026, with three 12-hour night shifts per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,601 to $2,704 and includes travel support and dedicated onboarding.

The role requires active Vermont RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, EPIC EMR experience, and at least 2 years of acute care nursing. Flexibility to float and cover holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Vermont in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in acute care; level 1 trauma teaching facility preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.
• Ability to float to Med Surg/Tele and related units.
• Night-shift schedule (3x12) and holiday coverage required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care on Med Surg Tele units, including routine assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and standard treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient status, interpret findings, and escalate changes promptly.
• Document care in EPIC and ensure accurate charting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care coordination and discharge planning.
• Float to related units as needed to support patient care and unit operations.
