Job summary

Guidehealth is seeking a Retinal Camera Operator - Eye Exam Specialist to perform scheduled diabetic eye exams across provider practices in the Nashville, TN area. Full training and equipment are provided, with up to 100% travel and mileage reimbursed.

You will travel to practices and patient homes, coordinate schedules, and maintain relationships with care teams while working remotely on non-appointment days.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to travel daily up to 100%.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Associate degree or greater in a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, quality measures, medical billing, or coding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to provider practices and patient homes for scheduled eye exam appointments.
• Perform retinal screenings using company imaging equipment.
• Train and maintain competency in retinal imaging procedures.
• Manage daily eye exam appointments and coordinate travel logistics.
• Build strong relationships with co-workers, customers, providers, payers, and care teams.
• Support quality improvement, reporting, patient outreach, and customer success.
