Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for PRN night shifts at our Burleson, TX facility. The role involves delivering respiratory therapies, monitoring patients, and adjusting care as needed within established protocols.

A strong focus on patient safety and collaboration with the care team is essential. Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in Respiratory Care, NBRC credentials, and prefer some critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Patient care skills for neonatal to geriatric populations.
• Intubations and airway management required.
• Ventilator management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers routine respiratory treatments and therapies.
• Monitors and coaches patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Reevaluates and adjusts therapies per protocol and criteria.
• Weaning readiness and ventilator adjustments as needed.
• Draws and analyzes gas samples and adjusts plans accordingly.
