Job summary

AdventHealth in Burleson, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and procedures in a PRN Day shift role. You will help manage patient flow and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapies, analyzing ABG results, and initiating/measuring ventilation. Requires BLS, RCP, RRT credentials and critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• 1+ year of critical care experience.
• Current BLS, Texas RCP, NBRC RRT certifications.

Responsibilities

• Documents and charges for procedures accurately and completely.
• Assist with patient flow through collaboration and teamwork.
• Respond to Code Blue emergencies with CPR per AHA.
• Perform respiratory therapies and oxygen delivery per protocol.
• Initiate and monitor mechanical ventilation and assess efficacy with the multidisciplinary team.
• Obtain, analyze and report ABG and co-oximetry findings.
• Adhere to safety regulations and hospital policies.
