Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program.
• RCP and RRT credentials required on hire.
• BCLS required on hire.
• 1 year Med/Surg or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and plan of care; verify therapy orders for appropriateness.
• Review medical records and obtain pertinent history from patient or family.
• Evaluate patients using age-appropriate assessment tests and measurements.
• Apply care interventions per protocol and priorities.
• Monitor patient response and reassess progress.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plan and home care.
