Job summary

Methodist Health System in Texas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a PRN, 12-hour shift. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide pulmonary care and perform diagnostic testing per physician orders and evidence-based protocols.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, current BLS and ACLS, and Texas licensure with NBRC registration. NRP and PALS must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
