Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide airway management, nebulized medications, secretion management and oxygen therapy for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. You will plan, implement and evaluate therapy with direct communication to the physician and health care team.

Qualifications

• Required BLS, ACLS, BLS Neonatal/Peds, PALS, and NRP certifications.

• Plan, implement and evaluate therapy; communicate with physicians and care team.

Overview

The Respiratory Therapist provides airway management, administration of nebulized medications, secretion management and application of oxygen therapy within the scope of practice under physician orders. Patient populations consist of adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. The Therapist plans, implements and evaluates effectiveness of therapy with communication to physician and health care team.
