WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to evaluate, treat, and manage patients across ages with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. The role requires licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and NC Respiratory Care Practitioner, with an Associate's degree required and a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Overview

Evaluates, treats and manages patients of all ages with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders in a wide variety of clinical settings. Performs all respiratory care procedures in addition to patient assessments, treatment efficacy, planning and patient education. Documents in the electronic medical record factual, accurate, complete, timely, and legal information about the care they provide to each patient.Adult) Basic Life Support Required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Required.(Neonatal/Peds) Basic Life Support Required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program Required.
