Job summary

WakeMed Travel Staffing seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide airway management, nebulized medications, secretion management and oxygen therapy under physician orders for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients across WakeMed locations in North Carolina's Triangle region.

Required: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist, NC Respiratory Care Practitioner license; 1 year clinical experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred.
• NC Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• 1 year clinical - Respiratory Therapy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Airway management for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Administer nebulized medications and provide secretion management.
• Apply and monitor oxygen therapy under physician orders.
• Plan, implement and evaluate therapy with communication to physician and health care team.
