Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a travel nursing job in Aurora, Colorado.

The RN will provide specialized care to patients recovering from illnesses, injuries, or surgeries in a Rehabilitation Hospital, working 12-hour nights on a 36-hour week. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans and monitor progress as patients regain function and independence.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum rehab RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Eligible for state licensure required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to rehab patients including neurological and orthopedic needs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to develop care plans
• Monitor vitals, neuro status, and progress; adjust plans as needed
• Administer medications and manage pain
• Educate patients and families on recovery goals and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and discharge planning
