Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Travel Med Surg RN for a 14-week assignment in Aurora, CO. You will work 12-hour nights in Med Surg, with a 36-hour weekly schedule, and you’ll join a supportive clinical team dedicated to patient-centered care.

Requirements include 1 year Med Surg RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS. Preferred NIHSS/ACLS certifications and licensure/CEU reimbursements are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist during treatments
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for recovery
• Document patient information in the medical record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans
• Manage multiple patients and prioritize care by acuity
• Ensure infection control practices and PPE use
• Advocate for patient needs and preferences in the care plan
• Coordinate discharge planning for smooth transitions
