Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a travel nursing job in Chesterfield, Missouri. This RN role focuses on rehabilitation care with a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week and night shifts.

The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized care plans and ensure safe, effective recovery for patients. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of rehab experience, BLS certification, and eligibility for state licensure.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with ability to obtain state licensure
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of rehabilitation experience
• Travel nursing readiness and flexibility

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neurological, orthopedic, and other rehab needs
• Collaborate with physicians, physical and occupational therapists, and other rehab team members to implement care plans
• Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and progress in therapy; adjust plans as needed
• Administer medications and assist with pain management
• Educate patients and families on recovery goals and daily living strategies
• Respond quickly to emergencies and stabilize patients as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR
• Assist with discharge planning and home care arrangements
• Coordinate care with case managers and social workers for comprehensive treatment
