Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a customer-focused banking associate to provide personalized support across multiple branch locations in Idaho. You will cover banker and teller absences, adapt to new environments, and build trust-based relationships with customers.

You will promote banking products, assist with account openings and credit applications, perform cash handling, and utilize digital tools to enhance the customer experience while ensuring adherence to risk controls.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of interacting with customers experience or equivalent demonstrated.
• Experience in financial services or a regulated customer-facing role.
• Ability to build trust-based customer relationships.
• Comfort initiating outreach via calls, emails, or other channels.
• Proficiency with digital tools and learning new systems.
• Ability to identify customer needs and connect to solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners.
• Ability to follow policies and regulations and escalate risk concerns.
• Ability to travel 100% of the time within the assigned geography.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
• SAFE registration or equivalent in employment process.
• Loan Originator Certification and related regulatory requirements.
• Subject to credit review and ongoing screening.
• Not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized banking support across multiple branch locations within an assigned geographic area
• Cover banker and teller absences and temporarily fill open positions as needed
• Adapt to new branch environments, teams, and customer needs
• Build customer relationships through proactive conversations and outreach
• Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs
• Promote banking products, services, and solutions and make appropriate referrals
• Support account openings, service requests, and credit applications
• Perform cash handling and teller line activities
• Use digital tools and technologies to enhance customer experience
• Deliver accurate, compliant service within defined risk controls
• Collaborate with branch teammates and coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or specialists
• Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities to support branch operations
