Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a customer-focused banking associate to support branch locations across the district. You will assist with opening new accounts, processing service requests, and submitting credit applications while adapting to changing priorities and building relationships with customers.

The role requires 6+ months of customer-facing experience, SAFE registration, Loan Originator compliance, and willingness to travel within the district.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have 6+ months of customer-facing experience.
• SAFE registration required at start of employment.
• Must meet Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z.
• Must meet financial responsibility, character and background standards.
• Willingness to travel 100% within the district.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide support across multiple branch locations within a specific geography when bankers or tellers are absent or vacancies need temporary coverage.
• Adapt to changing priorities and new surroundings while meeting customer needs.
• Build customer relationships through proactive outreach and recommend appropriate products, services, and digital solutions.
• Assist with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
• Receive manager direction and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures.
• Develop understanding of bank products and services to connect them to customer needs.
• Demonstrate care and build relationships with customers.
• Provide appropriate options for bank products and services.
• Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners.
• Maintain cash drawer, handle and balance cash, and complete service-related tasks.
