Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead on-site installation quality across multiple customer projects and locations. The role requires willingness to travel 100% to project sites and coordinate with project managers to uphold Dematic standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, with AGVS/AS/RS or conveyors experience, OSHA 10, and a readiness for weekend/holiday shifts. Base pay ranges at $88,000–$95,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is helpful.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and be on call.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on project sites, including QA with manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Maintain quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions when discrepancies arise.
• Oversee on-site safety, including safety audits.
• Support routine equipment trials to meet specs and Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site scheduling and resource reporting to project manager or customer.
• Assist training of contract labor and subcontractors on Dematic equipment installation.
• Write concise trip reports within required timelines.
• Travel on short notice and up to 100% of the time; be on call.
