Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO AutoChem Inc. seeks a Field Service professional to perform on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of specialized instrumentation.

You will train customers on hardware, software, and limited applications, while representing the Trusted Advisor standard across service, repair and product management teams. The role requires troubleshooting across electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, strong communication, and a willingness to travel extensively (over 75%).

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in chemistry, chemical, electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience troubleshooting electronic, electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.
• Experience with Infrared, Optics, Lasers, HPLC, GC, Mass Spectrometry is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral and written) – English required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, repairs, upgrades and maintenance of AutoChem instrumentation.
• Establish and maintain the Trusted Advisor role with customers through service excellence.
• Complete advanced and expert level instructor-led service product training.
• Document and report scheduling, utilization and escalation; manage field issues with Sales/Service.
• Manage field inventory and administrative time; complete tasks on time and within budget.
