Job summary

LG Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Chiller Field Engineer for our Alpharetta, GA office. You will monitor field products, identify issues, and support aftermarket operations and training teams with technical expertise.

Responsibilities include field support, quality analysis, product testing, and customer-facing guidance, with extensive travel and collaboration with HQ Korea teams to improve US product quality. This role requires a mechanical engineering background and VRF experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical field experience in HVAC on commercial products.
• 5+ years of VRF experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment.
• Strong MS Office knowledge.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of quality management.
• Proactive work attitude.

Responsibilities

• Travel to field locations up to 50% to track and investigate product quality.
• Coordinate with HQ Korea factory engineering and Quality teams.
• Develop technical bulletins on product quality.
• Provide monthly analysis of quality claims to management.
• Provide direct technical guidance via phone and email to customers.
• Read wiring schematics and refrigerant diagrams and convey information to customers.
