Job summary

Marand Builders, Inc. is seeking a dynamic General Contractor Healthcare Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up hospital and freestanding ER projects. The ideal candidate will manage multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with local government entities, and ensure safety and quality from inception to completion.

Applicants should have 10+ years in healthcare construction, OSHA 30, and strong proficiency with Procore and MS Office. Travel to various job sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least ten years of experience in healthcare construction, overseeing ground-up projects in hospitals, clinics, facilities, or lab upfits.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
• OSHA 30 within last 5 years or ability to renew.
• ICRA certification and familiarity with local government entities.
• Proficient in project reporting software and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety compliance (OSHA and Marand safety plan) as priority.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Conduct weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare field reports (daily, safety, etc.).
• Direct subcontractor progress and ensure adequate manpower for schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on construction schedules and updates.
• Maintain on-site contract documents and red-line drawings.
• Ensure cleanliness and professional image of the job site.
