Job summary

Exus Renewables North America is seeking a Project Engineer to support construction projects from site offices to field locations. You will meet with project leaders, assist with submittals, RFIs, and schedule tracking, and help ensure contract compliance and safety.

Recent grads welcomed for December 2026 intakes. Ideal candidates possess a civil/electrical/CM background, strong documentation skills, and the willingness to travel up to 75% to project sites across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or electrical engineering, or construction management.
• 1+ years of experience in a position of responsibility with a construction or engineering firm.
• Experience assisting on projects from groundbreaking to turnover preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Primavera, and select Project Management software.
• Travel up to 75% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Construction and Site Managers to monitor projects per contract, specs, and metrics.
• Perform safety audits and promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Lead quick resolution of issues affecting schedule, quality, and budget.
• Audit project files and drawings; ensure latest revisions are used.
• Obtain submittals, transmittals, and RFIs from vendors/subcontractors and route promptly.
• Review and follow up on submittals, transmittals, RFIs, and schedules.
• Track deliverables to ensure timely and accurate submission.
• Conduct field productivity audits of manpower, equipment, cycle times, and units.
• Document issues that could impact EXUS' interests.
• Read drawings across disciplines; assess schedules for risks and opportunities.
• Support independent engineer documentation/review of project docs.
