Job summary

Exus Renewables North America is seeking a Project Engineer to support Project Managers, Site Managers, and the Director of Construction across active projects. You will assist the Head of Construction with tasks as needed and coordinate with multiple project teams.

This role is open to December 2026 recent engineering graduates! You will help monitor projects, ensure safety, and drive timely submittals and field productivity while working on diverse renewable energy sites in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or electrical engineering, or construction management.
• 1+ years of experience in a construction or engineering firm, internships included.
• Prior experience on projects from groundbreaking to turnover preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Primavera, and project management software.
• Travel up to 75% to sites beyond the corporate office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Construction and Site Managers to monitor projects per contract requirements, specs, and metrics.
• Perform safety audits and interact with contractors to promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Lead in resolving issues impacting schedule, quality, or budget for assigned areas.
• Audit project files and drawings to ensure use of latest revisions and orderly documentation.
• Manage submittals, transmittals, and RFIs from vendors and contractors and ensure timely responses.
• Review submittals, transmittals, RFIs and schedules for accuracy and alignment with requirements.
• Follow up on submittals, transmittals, RFIs for additional information and actions.
• Track deliverables (schedule updates, lien waivers, work plans) for timely submission.
• Conduct field productivity audits (manpower, equipment, cycle times, units installed).
• Document issues that could affect EXUS' interests with project teams.
• Read drawings across disciplines, understand QC requirements, and assess schedules for risks.
