Job summary

Ascent Aerospace, LLC seeks a Field Service Engineer in Seattle, WA to become the automation product line expert, supporting customer maintenance teams and guiding them with technical leadership.

You will diagnose and repair industrial control systems, commission machines, and travel to sites for maintenance and training, collaborating with PMs, sales, and support to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of field service experience or 2-3 years of controls engineer experience
• Proficiency with diagnostics and electrical schematics
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• U.S. person status per ITAR requirements

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex industrial control systems (PLCs, CNC, field buses)
• Read electrical schematics and diagnose circuits with multimeter
• Travel to customer sites to commission machines and perform maintenance
• Provide input for service bids and quotes
• Program automated control systems
