ProAutomated Inc. is seeking a travel-focused field engineer to support data center startups and automation projects across North America.

You will perform on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, lead startup activities, and collaborate with engineers to validate systems in real-world environments. This role requires a technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience (3+ years) in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering, and willingness to travel away from home for

Competenze

• Requires a technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site with customers across North America.
• Experience or knowledge in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking is preferred.

Mansioni

• Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site with automation and controls engineers.
• Communicate progress clearly to customers and project teams; adapt to site challenges.
• Travel rotations follow 5 on-2 off, 10 on-4 off, or 14 on-7 off schedules.
