Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a Level III Trauma Center in Wisconsin. The role requires 3+ years of radiology experience, ARRT and BLS certifications, and state licensure where applicable.

You will perform imaging across general X-ray, portables, ED, OR, and pain clinic using Epic EMR and GE/Toshiba equipment. The position features a 9-hour night shift (9:00 PM–6:00 AM, Mon–Thu) with 36 hours weekly, hospital-wide floating, and weekend/call variations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in radiology.
• BLS and ARRT certification required.
• State licensure required if applicable.
• Experience with surgical, general, trauma, and fluoroscopy imaging.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Candidate's middle name/initial, date of birth, and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration.
• At least one professional reference within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN.

Responsibilities

• Level III Trauma Center, Level II NICU, and Primary Stroke Center with 167 beds.
• Rotates through general X-ray, portables, ED, OR, and pain clinic.
• Patient types include surgical, general, trauma, and fluoroscopy cases.
• Uses Epic EMR, Toshiba fluoroscopy units, GE portables, and GE C-arms.
• 9-hour night shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Standard 36 hours per week.
• Floating required throughout the hospital.
• Weekend rotation varies based on need.
• Call requirements vary.
• Rotating holiday assignment expected.
• Perform diagnostic imaging across general X-ray, portable, ED, OR, and pain clinic settings.
• One shift of orientation provided to learn unit flow.
• Scrubs may be any color, but camo, denim, and logos are not permitted.
• Free parking available on-site.
• First-time travelers considered upon review.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restrictions.
• Up to 7 days of requested time off may be approved.
• Former employees of the health system or its subsidiaries must have been separated for at least 12 months to be eligible.
