Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Rad Tech - Radiology for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT (R) certification and 2+ years of experience.

The role is based in a hospital-based diagnostic radiology department with weekend rotations and a 7:00 AM–7:30 PM schedule. Candidates must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and have a clean work history. Generous housing and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technology experience.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience in all areas of diagnostic radiology including portable and OR imaging.
• ED trauma imaging experience required.
• Fluoroscopy experience preferred.
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based diagnostic radiology department (DX) located on the 2nd floor of the F tower.
• 800-bed facility with staffing that includes technologists and supervisors across day, evening, and night shifts.
• Uses GE fixed and portable imaging equipment, Shiatzu portables, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms.
• Charting is done in Cerner Rad Net.
• Shift runs from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday through Sunday.
• Weekend rotation required.
• Perform diagnostic imaging including portable, trauma, fluoroscopic, and surgical procedures.
• Ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who can also work independently.
• Black scrubs required.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; no local candidates will be accepted.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months.
