American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Technologist for a Radiology unit, requiring ARRT certification and 1-3 years of experience. The role involves imaging procedures, equipment maintenance, and patient safety.

Shifts include Sunday 3pm-11pm and Monday-Thursday 7am-3pm, totaling 40 hours weekly with on-call. Epic EMR and Sectra PACS are used, with GE imaging equipment.

NJ licensing requirements apply; NJDEP certification and on-site training provided; compensation includes benefits and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• NJ State RT License required if applicable.
• NJDEP certification required.
• Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Radiology department setting.
• AM shift schedule: Sunday 3p-11p, Monday-Thursday 7a-3p.
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
• On-call required.
• Uses GE imaging equipment.
• EMR: Epic.
• PACS: Sectra.
• Potential to float to a sister hospital nearby.
• Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Maintain equipment for procedures and assess patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor procedure needs and coordinate daily imaging workflow.
• Demonstrate knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, and troubleshooting.
• Stay current on trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics.
• Strong problem identification, resolution, and analytical skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Local candidates accepted at a different rate.
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from initial start date, after which a break is required before returning to a new assignment
